1. Single room :
A single room is a room that sleeps 1 person only, this will appear as a 1 bed private room.
2. Double room : there are two types of double rooms as below:-
Type one - Separate beds
3. Triple room : there are either 3 beds in the room or a single and a double bed. In certain hotels they might take a regular double room and add an extra bed.
4. Twin room : is a room that has 2 beds and sleeps 2 people only.
5. Quadruple room : for four persons with either four single beds
or 1 queen size and 2 single beds.
6. Studio room : The Studio room is spacious and comfortable and ideal for the individual traveller, couple or small family. It can comfortably accommodate up to 3 adults or 2 adults and 2 children. The Studio Rooms have kitchen, a separate living room and a private laundry etc.
7. Connect room : A hotel room that shares a wall with an adjoining room and is connected by a private door.
8. Suite room : Suites offer multiple rooms, with more space and furniture than a standard hotel room. In addition to one or more beds and bedroom fixtures, a suite will include a living or sitting room, usually with a couch that converts into a bed. Dining, office and kitchen facilities are also added in many suites. Some properties now offer only suites. In addition to the luxurious suites mentioned in the first paragraph, regular suites are particularly marketed to business travelers who would both appreciate additional space and may use it to host small meetings or entertain clients.
9. Junior Suite room : consists of a bedroom and a living room area.
10. Standard room : the lowest category in hotels. The next in line are the superior and executive rooms. The difference between standard, superior, and executive rooms varies greatly depending on the hotel, but generally speaking the higher category rooms are better equipped and/or larger.
